You never know what will happen unless you try. Those were my exact sentiments as I approached the Starbucks' Girl( Name changed to avoid identification). Even though it was late and everyone was tired, I just had to approach her and get to know her better cause I knew I would regret it if I didn't. So yeah, when she was waiting for a cab I went up to her and here's how it went;

'Hi..."

"Hi..."

"So umm, I know this is a bad time but I just couldn't forgive myself if I didn't introduced myself to you today. You look like a nice girl to me and I was wondering if we could become friends?"

"Sure, why not?"

"Cool, so umm, the name's Daiyan but you can call me Yan."

"Oh hey, my name's (Starbucks' Girl)"

*shaking of hands*

"So which school were you from?"

"Singapore Sports school, you?"

"Oh, I'm from Hai Sing Catholic."

This is the part when the taxi came.

"Oh by the way, here's my email. (email of Starbucks' Girl)"

"Oh hey, thanks. I'll add ya on msn."

She left in a taxi. I felt so happy then cause my mission was accomplished for that day.

That happened yesterday...

Today, after our classes were over, we sorta happened to bump into each other near the stairs. We chatted for awhile then she had to go do an errand. After that, I met up with Huzaifah in the canteen and we played and surfed the Internet on our laptop when Starbucks' Girl came online on MSN. I was so happy then that I just couldn't help smiling while chatting with her online. She's a great girl to talk to. Very affable.

Oh well, enough about her. For the past few days I went for a camp in RP for STA. It was really fun and I got to know my seniors much better especially C-la, Nana and Jill. They're really a great bunch and it was a real treat to hang out with them.

Oh yeah, after meeting up with Huzaifah, his friend, Naj, came and we basically hung out with her. I got to know her better and we were soon like friends who knew each other for years. We sang in the canteen at the top of our lungs and joked a lot. It's really great getting to know new people.
