She was a girl on 11th street
First she smiled and then she'd leave
I'm just a guy who was passing by
But she's the girl that caught my eye
I just couldn't leave her alone
I took a picture of her with my phone
Wishing badly for her to stay
As she walked away from me
Going crazy at the thought of you
Baby girl don't give me the blues
I just don't know what else to do
When all I think about is you
Written above is part of a poem I wrote about this girl who lived in my apartment block whom I have never had a decent conversation with although we've known each other for years. We would have just casually said hello if we happened to bump into each other on the way back home. However, she's going to the same polytechnic as I am so this would mean that we would be on the same transportation to school everyday. This would then give me the chance to get to know her better. Even though I know she's a very shy person, I'm sure that I can erase that innate shyness of hers so that we can have a decent, pleasant conversation.
Well, I know I haven't been blogging for awhile and it would be very difficult for you readers out there who are very interested in the up-to-date events of my life to know what exactly goes on in my life if I don't blog regularly. As some of you might know, the school semester for polytechnic students is coming soon so this would mean that I would be too busy to blog regularly. The most I could do is just a weekly entry. So I hope that you readers would just be patient while waiting for the weekly updates of this blog.
Anyway, on to the subject at hand. My friend from primary school has just recently returned to Singapore for a 2-week break. She moved to Qatar 4 years ago when her dad was transferred there. Nonetheless, this is still something good to look forward to because she is really a nice person with a very gregarious personality which is simply hard to find in girls nowadays. Ha Ha. Anyway, I'm waiting for her schedule to clear up so that ex-classmates of our primary school could meet up and just have a blast to give her pleasant memory of her stay here in good ol' Singapore. So girl, if you're reading this, tell me when okay?
As for me, things have been pretty much on the down low while waiting for my school term to start. Firstly because I'm not working anymore and I haven't been going out with my friends cause some of them went to JC. Things started to get pretty boring to put it simply. Luckily, my schedule for next week is quite full so there should be loads of stuff to tell all of you about. So yeah, my post for today will be ending here. Thank you very much for reading this post and make sure you stay tuned every week for more updates.
