When life gives you lemons, you either suck on them or make lemonade out of them. Many people would have chosen the former seeing as to how it is generally easier than making lemonades and requires less effort. You ever wondered why? No, it's not because they're lazy. The reason for this is just one word, negativity. Yup, many of you out there might disagree but it is really true. Negativity in a person might make it seem like it is the end of the world even though it is a trivial matter, for example, getting bad grades.
Now, the reason for the existence of negativity in our lives is due to the fact that we are not optimistic enough in ourselves. You see, this trait is essential to us living in a happy and fruitful life. Without it, we would just end up as bitter old men and women. And studies have shown that being optimistic would generally increase your lifespan by a number of years. However, you have to make the extra effort to be optimistic. Let's say you're a student, one way to remain optimistic is to finish all your work on time. That way, you don't accumulate stress which is a key factor in inducing negativity in our thoughts. Why, you may ask? Well, it's actually quite simple. If you procrastinate, your work pile would increase and therefore it will make your task of finishing up your work ever more a daunting prospect. You will then begin to feel that it's impossible to finish them all which will then lead you to not not do them at all and in the end, you will suffer.
Even though I said that we should avoid negativity, that in itself is impossible to avoid in its entirety. However, many steps can be taken to ensure that we don't develop the habit of being negative. I can only tell you this much, the rest you will have to find out for yourself if you want to know more.
In case you're wondering why I wrote all those things just now, I'll tell you that I had no idea why. The words and phrases just flew out of my head. Honest. Anyway, hope you enjoyed reading this post as I had in typing it. Come back soon!
